EUROPÄISCHE ZUSAMMENARBEIT
Ulm ist eine bürgerorientierte, nach-haltige und lebenswerte digitale Stadt. Um diesen Weg auch im Blickfeld Europa zu gehen, hat sich die Stadt Ulm um die Aufnahme in die ICC beworben, den exklusi-ven Kreis der Intelligenten Städte der europäischen Union – und wurde 2020 aufgenommen. ICC steht für Intelligent City Challenge.
WAS IST DIE ICC?
Ziel dieses Städte- und Experten- netzwerks der Europäischen Kommission ist, in den unterschied- lichen Regionen intelligentes, sozial verantwortliches und nach-haltiges Wachstum durch fort-schrittliche Technologie zu fördern. Das bedeutet, dass die Stadtver-waltungen gemeinsam mit lokalen Unternehmen, Universitäten, gesellschaftlichen Organisationen und Gruppierungen und den Bürgern ihre Stadt so planen und bauen, dass sie klimaneutral, wirtschaftlich prosperierend und offen für alle Menschen ist.
Im Zeitraum bis Juli 2022 arbeiten 136 europäische Städte der ICC gemeinsam an Lösungen für die intelligente Stadt der Zukunft.

EUROPEAN COLLABORATION
Ulm is a citizen-oriented, sustainable and liveable digital city. To follow this path also in the field of vision of Europe, the city of Ulm applied for admission to the ICC, the exclusive circle of Intelligent Cities of the European Union - and was accepted in 2020. ICC stands for Intelligent City Challenge.
WHAT IS THE ICC?
The aim of this European Commission network of cities and experts is to promote smart, socially responsible and sustainable growth through advanced technology in different regions. This means that city governments work together with local businesses, universities, social organizations and groups, and citizens to plan and build their city so that it is climate-neutral, economically prosperous and open to all people.
In the period up to July 2022, 136 European cities of the ICC are working together on solutions for the smart city of the future.
